WE ARE predominantly right leaning in this riding...yes it is a constituency of red necks, farmers, average working people, hippies, tree huggers, military and of course the beloved LOGGER. While we all try to get along with our neighbours out here in the rural areas, the truth is the lefties can get quite righteous and vile. The great equalizer is the rest of us are ARMED. This riding and to a greater extentsion the North Island is almost always getting groundswell from grass roots populous movements. In fact, most of the rural parts of this riding were rising up in revolt back in December when the n.d.p. cum communistas and their red brothers in the federal liberals were trying to usurp the October federal election. It isnt that any of us like voting for liberals, it is just that the alternative is absolutely disgusting. We need a Conservative candidate in this riding, which Stan Hagen actually was through his Social Credit credentials, which incidentally is why our Federal MP is a Conservative....John Duncan...
